Description

This is a scale model of a lego hand for a 50" tall lego minifigure, which is about a 7-10 year old human (human sizes vary, please measure your human before fitting). It can fit on most huxley size printers.

Instructions

Print 3-6 perimeters, and 0 infill. It does require bridging when finishing, but it prints upside down, so if it doesn't bridge well that side will not generally be seen.

It is likely to crack if printed in ABS without a heated enclosure on your printer. PLA might be fine, but I haven't tried it. It's tall and thin walled, print accordingly.

Cut a hole through the back so the person wearing this can put their hand inside the shell and grasp the inner cylinder like a cup. Be aware of sharp edges where you cut, cover them with glue gun glue, cloth, or something else soft and/or compliant.

If it does crack, allow the print to finish, and use a glue gun or epoxy to fill in the cracks and prevent further delamination. Then sand and paint to meet your costume requirements.
