This is the hull of FreeShip Demo1. Program can be downloaded at http://www.delftship.net/ .
I made a single propeller version out of it, because I had one left ;-)
The hull seems zu use PODs normally.

uploaded sec20r.stl
Please try that one...

Really enjoying printing out this hull. Any progress in the deck sections?

No... sorry

Nice hull, How did you get a larger wall thickness. All I get is a very thin wall which is not even printable when exported to repetier.

for section 80 and 90 there are files with a thicker wall.
it must be done by hand - I would provide it but I have less time... sorry
In Blender you can mark the inside and scale it.

OK well I am thinking of making one of these and going ahead and puting a motor in it and a radio. But I would like to know what the rest of it looks like. You know the top the super structure. I think I could design decking and all in sketchup. I just would like to know what a real one looks like if it is a model of a real boar.

I don't know if this boat realy exists. The superstructure should be in the blender file. If you need it as an stl, please inform me and I will upload it also.

To get an impression how a boat like this looks like in reality search for pictures with "anchor handling work vessel".

Thanks for the info. Yes please on the super structure STLs. I am not very good at using Blender yet. Also I just finish printing the 80 section and it seems that the walls are thinner than on the previous sections. (I am doing them in order). There is a place on the "bottom" that has little holes in it. I have scaled it down 10% so that may be it.

Anyway thanks for the work you have done so far it is great!

OK.... added two more files (shell only versions):
freeshipBsp1.stl => whole boat like it came from delftship
freeshipBsp1_Superstructure.stl => superstruckture only

You can use it under the following condition:
When you finished your work I want you to upload a picture!!!!

Ok, Will do. Is there any way I could get you to make section 80 and 90 with a little thicker walls. I took a look at the blender file. All I could display was the bow section. (that should show you how little I know about blender.) I could see that the other sections are listed to the right, but I didn't have time to figure it out. By the way section 10 11 are good, and 12 looks like it works. Was something different about 8 and 9?
I'm not being critical just say what I found. So thanks.

OK... made the 2 sections with thicker walls under the stringer, please find in downloads.

You can only see the bow section because the others are on other layers... you can switch on by clicking on the (20) boxes under the 3d window where there is a little ball in there. With "shift" you can activate more than one layer.

In section 90+ you can see that I'am also still learning blender. I cutted the section at stl edges because I did't know that blender can calculate boolean operations ;-)

Been working on something like this for ages. Mine is the Ramparts3000 hull. Beat me to it :/

Very cool. I haven't looked at the software, but how did you slice the hull into the individual stls?

That was a lot of work in Blender...
