warp, peel, crunch, missed steps, failed print... sad. :(
Why?
Some printers can print out into open space - bridge - in much the same way Evel Knievel liked to jump over schoolbusses.
This is the Eckstruder for the Prusa Mendel, modified only in that the sprial support on the gear side has been removed. All of the rest of the original Eckky goodness has been retained.

Instructions
Print. Make "whee!" noises when you are printing out into open space.
