Description
I bought a travel set of Settlers of Catan, but I didn't like the size of the board and pieces. I made my own cardboard tiles, settlements, cities, and roads, but they never really worked very well. Now that I'm a member of think|haus, however, I have ready access to a laser cutter! Thus this project was born.
Instructions
The files I've included here should help you laser cut settlements, cities, and roads for a small version of Settlers of Catan. You'll want to cut these pieces out of three to six different colours of 3mm acrylic.
The gcode file is specifically tailored to work with the think|haus laser. It uses linuxEMC. You may need to modify it to work on your laser. It's also not very optimized - I just took the raw output from our svg-gcode converter. I do have another file which is much better. I'll try to remember to upload it later. This one will work, it's just inefficient and it irks me ;)
