I was poking around Thingiverse looking for something that would be suitable for a Halloween costume and noticed that while there was a great 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver no one had uploaded one for the Eleventh Doctor!

So here it is, printable and ready to deal with all your "timey wimey" Doctor Who adventures.

I haven't painted mine yet but I thought it would be a good idea to get Halloween themed models out for people to download ASAP!

  1. Print in 3 parts.
  2. Super glue or ABS glue the parts together.
  3. Paint to match the official color scheme,
  4. Enjoy some fish fingers and custard.

Can this be printed at 0% fill?
It seems like the middle should be hollow, but two of the tops need support.

You could certainly try. I've only printed it at 30% so I can't say for sure.

this refuses to be fixed and slice properly, can someone help? using slic3r and RH.

I ran this file through NetFabb and uploaded another copy called "11thDoctorSonicScrewdriver_fixed.stl" give that a try.

yay! it worked!

Awesome! Post a photo of your print when you're done, I'd love to see it.

this is really cool! the only thing is that i'm pretty sure it's supposed to have 4 prongs... but honestly, who cares because it's a sonic screwdriver!!!

Cool, now do the River Song one. :P

is there any way you could upload each individual piece separately?

Sure why not, just uploaded them.

Thanks, that'll really help out. because the 3d printer I use has only ABS plastic and it warps when it tries to print stuff like it was.

I can't remember if I mentioned this in October, but Chris Hardwick lunged over a couch for your Sonic Screwdriver I printed for New York Comic-Con... it is in a much better place now.

You can see it here...

I saw the video posted to the Makerbot Blog back in October and reached some kind of nerd nirvana. It's awesome to see my model in it's natural habitat...Comic-Con.

Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks "ooh, this could be a little more sonic?"

This is... magnificent.  Thank you!

Hmm, I wonder if I could apply my recorder space to it and combine the 11th and 2nd doctors...
