Description
After designing my replacement keycap thingiverse.com/thing:31995 I thought I could of course remove all the other keys and replace them with old typewriter keys - so I quickly sketched up a typewriter-like keycap that should fit on the Das Keyboard switches. I don't know if I will ever need it, but after the problems I had with the "original" key design it was really easy to put this together, so, yeah...

If you want to steampunkify your Das Keyboard, just print out some of these...
I have no access to a 3D printer yet so all my designs are untested.
Update: I made a version with a slight concave on the top (Typewriter key2.stl - you can't tell from the rendering) - again, simply cosmetical in nature but it might actually be counterproductive if you want to go with the Von-Slatt version of attaching your typewriter keys (As seen on steampunkworkshop.com/keyboard.shtml)
