Z-Axis Knob
Description
This is a knob that screws nicely onto the M8 threaded rods for the Z-Axis on a Makerbot. Inspired by Zaggo's thingiverse.com/thing:975, this knob is quick to print.
Instructions
Print: I made mine hollow with 0.2 infill density in Hex
Install: Mine was a tight fit, but did not require tools
Optional: Press in M3 nut and use screw to secure on shaft

One of my first prints. It has been extremely handy. The best upgrade for my printer I have ever made.

Stefan, you rock! I was manually moving the Z axis belt until I printed up your slick little Z axis knob...fits perfectly too! (No problems with Skeinforge 2009-11-06 with Makerbot defaults for me). :-D
