HD Test Tube Rack
Description
I finally got around to making a test tube rack for all those tubes of ABS glue laying around on my work bench. HD stands for Heavy Duty, as in workbench tough. The tubes are 12X100mm vacuum tubes I got at UWSWAP for a couple bucks per 100. The holes were set at 14mm, but printed out at about 13.7mm.
While seven holes might seem odd, it was originally meant to be the bottom of a two tier rack for an even dozen tubes, but I didn't like the way it looked. On the positive side seven tubes are just enough to spell ROY G. BIV.

Instructions
Made on a Makerbot Replicator.
I printed mine in natural PLA with 10% infill, and no supports were needed. The temp. was 220C with .27mm layer. Hood and front panel off. Fingers crossed.

the tube you have for ABS 'goop' are a good idea!
I've been scrounging old small jars.
i definitly use abs goop lots! I will have to search out those lab blood sample tubes. They are a good small size.
Except for the labels on each one I think these would work.
