First I opened up the template for the project on inkscape, then I typed out my text in my selected font and adjusted it so it was in the middle and bigger. Then I went to path>object to path and then path>combine to outline the text so it would print out correctly on the Eggbot. Then I got out thye Eggbot machine hooked it up and put the ball in the rubber part of the machine that holds the object. After that I adjusted the pen into the hole, then from the program adjusted it's height from extensions>eggbot>eggbot control. Then I was done with that soI just hit the apply button and let it print. After it printed I made sure it looked okay and turned out the way I wanted it to and I was done.
Also I wouldn't use the EPS file because it doesn't come out like it's supposed to in Illustrator.
