Description
An improved design over my previous cooling fan arrangement. This version attaches the fan to the X carriage.

Instructions
Print one of each part.
Put a M3x18 or longer bolt through the two parts to create a joint.
Use M3 bolts to attach a 40mm x 40mm x 10mm fan.
Attach to the top of the X carriage using the four existing accessory bolts.
Angle the fan so it is pointing down towards the hotend and tighten the bolt at the joint.

Nice one. I uploaded the 2 files into TinkerCad and printed them together. Small bit of filing and we were there. First upgrade! Thanks.

I made two of these, one fitted with a fan as show in the pictures, and one i fitted with two white leds with reflectors to provide some light on the bed.

how do you control the fan? I have a rrp mendel but not sure where on the board to find power for the fan. Any ideas?
