I made this model, but based it on IP owned by Reddit. I'm not sure where exactly that fits in sharing it. I'm thinking it is fine to make one for yourself or as a gift, but no selling it. My only requirement is if you make one post a pic!

I have been able to print this out with the antenna on a Replicator Gen5. You need to turning on it's side and placing the antenna ball and left ear on the build plate. Enble both raft and support. Only issue is removing it off the plate without breaking the antenna.

the replicator might make an error making the antenna, help?

Slic3r warns that there are holes in the model. Just figured I would let you know.

How did you get it looking so smooth? Most other 3d printed items I have seen made with Makerbot look very low quality?

Zorink - in reply to dean

I had it made by http://shapeways.comshapeways.com using the laser sintered nylon

I printed this out just a moment ago. 3rd print on my new makerbot, with very little in the way of calibration. Turned out pretty well, though the head was on the very edge of its overhang limits... and of course I had to stop it before it attempted the antenna.
