Description
This is a derivative of thing:16164, my custom designed (heh, aren't all these things custom?) extruder assembly has the fan too close to the hotend to use the Prusa led mount. Shortened the arms to fit better.
Instructions
I printed at .3mm layer height, obviously infill is not really an issue here. Caution! Make sure you're running your fan or flic.kr/p/dnHQph can happen.
After you print, clip the ends to allow the LED ring to slide in. I've found that adding a little heat from a lighter allows you to "reseal" the jaws back together.
I used these halo led rings from ebay: bit.ly/TXYMix
