Acrylic Window Holder for Replicator 2 by scoopdreams Oct 28, 2012

Description

This is a simple bracket to hold acrylic windows and allow them to slide out easily.

My prints were curling badly because it was windy and by placing acrylic windows around the openings, it helped tremendously.

See the pictures for acrylic windows dimensions. You can get them made for really cheap.

Sweet. Thanks for posting this. I'm having trouble with my larger pieces curling on one corner, so I'm going to try these out, since I've tried most other options mentioned here: `base doesn't stick/warps : MakerBot Industries Support` diigo.com/018b04

Instructions

Print the acrylic holder and mount them strategically around the Replicator 2 openings with strong mounting tape.

To slide out, you have to remove some screws (which I personally didn't feel affected the Replicator 2's operations in any way at all).
