Hurricane Sandy Preparedness Kit by NickRBrewer Oct 29, 2012

Like so many others on the East Coast, I'm stuck in my apartment for the next day or two because of Hurricane Sandy.

Here is my preparedness kit... filament, beer, a leatherman, and a Replicator XL. Should be a fun few days.

Golf Cart batteries are a smarter choice than car batteries, if you have time to plan ahead (Basically same as marine batteries, but far cheaper. And if used will do, I'm told golf courses sometimes sell "well used" ones before they're totally flat.)

Holy crap that's amazing!!! How do I miss this stuff?? Thank you!

All you need is a few car batteries and some dc to dc converters then bypass the power supply or another option is get one the those cheapo inverters, they are just not as efficient :) And you will be printing for days

Ok, maybe I didn't think this plan through completely.
