Instructions

Parts Required:

  • Printed parts
  • Bottle cap
  • 4 M8 Nuts
  • 2 M3 Nuts
  • 2 M3 Screws
  • 30 mm M8 threaded rod
  • 95 mm M8 threaded rod
    Assembly:
    1) Cut M3 screws length down to 4mm
    2) Glue M3 nuts to Tilt cap cavities
    3) Glue M8 nuts to Tilt, upper clip, knob 1 and knob 2
    4) Glue 30 mm rod to tilt
    5) Put it all together

Very good design for holding the camera/phone etc - fitted an iphone 5s snuggly despite the curved grips not perfectly matching the iphones square edges.

The tilt mechanism could be better, perhaps adding a locknut or something to grip the thread at the opposite end to Knob 2. I don't have time to redesign or would do it myself.

All in all I'm very happy with the tripod, it does what it needs to acting as a temporary mount for my iphone.

I read the instructions but I couldn't buy the screws, nuts etc; by a lack of information towards the dimensions. I was asked by the seller and couldn't specify height or width, newbie times. Would someone help me out?

The sizes of nuts are in the instructions other than the M3s which anything 5mm+ works ok.

What instructions? There are no instructions that I can see. There is a link to the left but it goes nowhere.
