We're excited and proud to launch Thingiverse Apps. Learn More about what this means to you.
I removed these files from Thingiverse because I don't agree with Stratasys/Makerbot and because there's a better alternative. You can find them on their new home: YouMagine!
Doing it yourself is never more fun if you have an (Ultimaker) 3D printer! Last weekend I made some nice mirror mounts with a flexure latch.
The mirror just 'snaps' right into place.
You couldn't buy mounts that would fit this specific mirror, but you CAN design them and print them at home!
Same for window drapes (will upload in a minute). We had drapes at a specific length. Now we could just hang them on the wall instead of the ceiling, exactly at the right height, saving us from having to make the drapes 'longer', which is kind of hard to do.
Open the .dae files (made in Sketchup) right from Cura to prepare them for printing. If you have a different slicer, convert the file to STL.

So what's this mean?
We're sure Erik would love to see what you've printed - take a photo and share it on Thingiverse as a Make.
To post a Make simply visit this Thing again and click I Made One to start uploading your photo. You can also download the Thingiverse Mobile app (available via Google Play and Apple App Store) to take a photo and upload your Make right from the app!
