this design may be used to check your bed level

We can take this one further:  Print this onto your bed support plate, and then lay your bed on top (non heated of course)

Automagically perfectly level.

 you mean like a skirt that goes around the object a few times before starting with the real object? That is a really great suggestion and implemented in Cura,Slic3r and skeinforge even.
