Got Wood? - Math Decor by @Dizingof
Description
"Mayan" Vase i designed with fractals for the amazing LAYWOO-D3 mm filament: thingiverse.com/thing:30552
It's a great looking material that i thought i should dedicate a Decor design for it.
Now with the new improvements to the slicing software to create different shades, i foresee a great use for this material.
betterprinter.blogspot.fr/2012/10/shades-of-brown-with-wood-filament-via.html
P.s: These are rendered pics.. not the real thing ;)
Size: 100x100x150mm
Thickness 3~17mm (use your judgment for infill %)
It's amazing how you can stretch current technology when you're curious enough.
Enjoy !

Oh, while I was looking at your collection I stumbled upon my owl print, I first thought it was a mistake! :)
I would gladly try to print your vase and post pictures, but I see that some lobes are significantly in overhang... Do you think you could get rid of them? I just hate support structures, and it may already require quite some cleanup on its own ;)
techknight lol you're right, I would most probably scale it down else all of my remaining filament would go with it :D
