Description
This is a foot which, once printed, will accept a nearly 40mm square section of 10mm thick self adhesive foam. The feet of the Darwin frame (the smooth vertical rods) fit loosly in the top of the foot. The hole is there to keep the foot from sliding away from the centre.
It reduces the vibration passed through to a hard surface - useful if your Darwin sits on a table.

Hmm. Turns out this doesn't work that well - in a few days the foam is crushed to the point that one foot has grounded. Have added a second set of foam, but this makes the feet quite difficult to keep level - they are too tall and keep trying to rotate. Maybe once this layer of foam has crushed down it'll be suitable. Will post here if it works long term. :-[
