Summary

disruptit's broom holder is a great idea, but its only one size, and I found my various brooms and mops had enough variation to not all fit. Also, it prints with the flanges pointing up, so its flexing against the layer grain and tends to crack.

I redesigned the same basic shape as a parametric openscad object. Just measure the broom you want to hang and change the dimensions to match. It also prints standing on end so as not to crack along layers.

Instructions

Change the variables at the beginning of the scad file to match your broom, render and print. The parameters already there are set for a fairly typical broom, and standard drywall screws. The screw holes are recessed to keep the screw head from getting in the way of the broom, so make sure they are the right size for your screw.

Printed the other one first, and it broke for this reason. Just printed yours in 22mm and it's perfect, printing a 25mm for my mop now! Thanks! :)
