This is an awesome helicopter model, complete with main rotor, tail rotor, and landing skids. The tail boom is removable, but fits snugly. Make this as the first piece in your MakerBot aircraft collection, or give one to your favorite aspiring pilot. You never know how far a little inspiration can go.

Created by Matt / Chris

Place the pin into the tail and connect with the body of the helicopter. Insert the rotor axles into the tail, then snap on the rotors. Insert the windows, logos, and runners into the slots on the body. Connect the top piece to the body using the connector piece, then snap the propeller to the top.

For best results, we recommend the following settings.

Windows and Logo

Infill: 0%
Layer Height Resolution: 200 microns (0.20 mm)
Shells: 0

All other pieces

Infill: 10%
Layer Height: 250 microns (0.25 mm)
Shells: 1

I can print every piece except for the propeller on my Thing-O-Matic.  Had to scale that down by .92 and then drill out the center to make it fit.  Photos soon to follow.
