Summary

Project to print a life-saver bracelet with med information

Instructions

I suggest you not to print this bracelet until I finish to modify the project.

I am in doubt about the closure system that could need some fixing.

Update:

I printed the first file: the box is too small to be printed successfully with my printer (3 mm filament, 0.5 nozzle diameter). Walls are thin and too fragile.

Update:

I uploaded a new bracelet with smooth shapes and a more printer-friendly closure system.

Soon new updates.

Update:

I printed bracelet3.stl and it's a solid piece with a safe closure system.

I sliced it with Skeinforge, as Slic3r seems to pass too many times from a far vertex to another and probably make a mess of plastic.

The result is visible in the photo.

I printed it yellow for now.

Update 10/12/12

I uploaded a new bracelet (braccialetto 4). It's more comfortable to wear and the box is smaller.

Update 21/01/12

I printed the last project (braccialetto 4) in white plastic, and added the photo.

As it is, it fits the medium wrist of an adult woman.

my son loves it. not because its a life saver. he likes the secret storage.something with a skull as
a pirate bracelet with a hidden treasure map would be nice.

A pirate bracelet sounds nice. I hope I can design this version soon.

Yes ,A wonder full idea

Update:
I printed the first file, the box is too small to be printed successfully with my printer (3 mm filament, 0.5 nozzle diameter).

I'm going to print the second project, with a bigger box.
