This is my direct drive extruder, for 1.75mm filament, it uses a spring from an artline pen and a machined filament drive,

Instructions

1 - print object
2 - mount stepper motor
3 - clear out springslot and install artline spring
4 - mount on reprap carriage
5 - install hotend
6 - print somthing

filament drive available from www.3dindustriesaustralia.com.au and www.trinitylabs.com
now features two aditional hole for my to be released vertical x axis (v6)
*works with mk7 drive gears

This works great for me. I used the pen clip pulled from a Uni-ball Rollerball pen cap. I converted my old Prusa I2 3mm Wades extruder to this 1.75mm JGR direct drive extruder and a e3v6 head. Thanks for sharing this!
