Description

This is an all plastic bearing using 6mm AirSoft BBs

Instructions

The holes may need a bit of reaming since the 6mm AirSoft BBs seem to have missed all but cursory QA... just open up with a 6mm twist drill

what about sizing for brass bb's
and maybe multiple rows nested for larger loads

This is cool, I'm going to try to build a 1/2" bearing version. I found a cheap place to get steel ball bearings. Check out http://edwinscience.com/Items....

They have 3/8", 1/2" and larger.

This looks pretty neat, but I'm a bit stunned by the STL file size. 11MB? 36MB? How many millions of triangles is that?

I cranked up the resolution a bit - only 513K triangles

share your files if you can . . . i would love to see this be the replacement for bearings on a horizontal filament spool case . . . :-D

A pack of BB's will likely cost more than the normal bearing. Mine was
&
lt; $5. Still, I like the idea of this and I'm already thinking of other uses....

got the top and bottom uploaded...

If you give me the specs/dimensions you need I can design up a set for you (only takes a little bit of time using XOR)

I'm trying but for some reason I could not get the files to upload last nigh (sigh)
