HTC Desire holder / cradle built in LEGO

Description

This is a holder for a HTC Desire smartphone. It holds the smartphone in landscape and portrait orientation and leaves enough space for the cable.

Instructions

1) Download the source code
2) Fire up LeoCAD
3) Open the lcd file in LeoCAD
4) Take LEGO(TM) Bricks

- 2 x 2x2-bricks
- 10 x 2x3-bricks
- 38 x 2x4-bricks
- 2 x 2x8-bricsk
- 1 x 2x10-brick
and use the CAD model to build the cradle.

5) Improve it
6) Fork it on github: github.com/konrad/HTC-Desire-holder

Thanks for your comments/feeback, folks. I wasn't really sure if LEGO stuff is well place here but I just gave it a try. Maybe somebody will refine this model and create a proper, printable model in the future. And if not - this LEGO version work pretty well. :)

Really cool, you could go crazy and print some parametric lego bricks and then build this.

No, seriously, this type of design is definitely also what Thingiverse is a supposed to be a home for. Not just the printable stuff. People can build this with the bricks they have available to them, which makes the design pretty replicable.
