Description

My new Mini Mendel Production file. I printed this off in 1 shot in 19 hours with 2 reprints at 25mm/s. So this can likely be printed in less than 17 hours. It's all the parts that you saw in Erik's legendary build, with none of the filler.

Added
Nopheads Motor pulleys thingiverse.com/thing:2079
Whosawhatsis m6 pinch blocks thingiverse.com/thing:3437
Erik's Standing Vertexes (4 with feet, 2 with not) thingiverse.com/thing:2200
Erik's Z axis Pulleys thingiverse.com/thing:2165

Removed.
All parts associated with the spool on the bottom
The extruder (use Wades or Prinstruder)
All replaced parts

Instructions

All plates can be printed with a raft and fit on a makerbot build plate. You need to use the Raftless script for the sheets with an r on the end, or use a raft if using a HPB because of all the small parts.

i would love to get started with a mini can anyone --print me the parts ---or know some where to post to get some help starting ---- have no way to print parts

I would sugjest the Prusa more, but go to the RepRap forums, or the freenode #reprap IRC and ask around :)

Do you know if anybody posted the parts without the bottom plate, for building parts with a different machine?

Otherwise, any advise on how to remove it?

Thanks

Woohoo! It's about time we got a one-day reprap! :D

This thing is NO WHERE near prime time. I think the final printer will share most these parts, but many of the mechanical parts are off. I will be shooting video.

Ok, I'll bite.
I've been browsing around looking for a good BOM,
And I found the bar sizes in the SVN.

Does anyone have a BOM for fasteners
&
amp; bearings for the mini?
Finding a lot of data on the full sized.
Would be good to post a list here of what else is needed.

RepRap official trunk is a good place to look.

My blog post goes over some good sources. http://repraplogphase.blogspot...

Great Stuff!
Do you know if there are any tutorials for setting up the mini mendel?

I couldn't find one (probably should have taken some pictures while I was building mine), but it's pretty obvious where the screws go, and with the stl of the assembled machine to look at (http://www.thingiverse.com/dow..., it wasn't too hard to figure out.

Does it include a fix for the x belt rubbing against the carriage? I just built one from http://www.thingiverse.com/thi..., and it's not fixed there.

http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... is a fix for this with an additional part (2-off). This part should be printable, but a printed version may need to be thicker. I cut mine from 22-gauge sheet metal.

good question
