Container 20 feet for HO model train by phildc Nov 27, 2012

Description

This is a test to show what can be done for HO miniature train.

Not a model of a real thing. Picture shows it in front of a regular Märklin container.

Hello, Thanks for your comment. No idea how to decorate on such a surface, except by hand painting. Maybe a 3D painting machine?? ;) Don't know... Anyone with a solution? The web is full of Maersk logo and real Maersk containers images.

PS: The Maersk container in the back on the picture is a genuine Märklin one!! I don't know how they paint it

Nice model How do you make the Maersk logo, decal, transfer ?

With ABS filament at max 50 Euros per kilo, you come to 50 Eurocents, not considering the wasted filament, tests, errors,...

In US$: approx.70 cents per container

To cool! Any idea how much materials are needed to build this? With these shipping containers so expensive I'm wondering if this could be a low cost alternative.

Hello, I would say approximately 10 grams.

I once calculated a price for the HO tank, but I do not retrieve the info.
