Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress.
Files, instructions, and other stuff might change!
every last drop - bottle consolidation funnel
Description
I like to use all the shampoo and detergent in the bottle, but it's annoying to hold the bottle upside down waiting for those last few drops. Ditto ketchup. Regular funnels make it hard to balance the upper bottle when you're trying to consolidate the old bottle and the new one. Wouldn't it be great to have a funnel which safely held the two bottles in place, letting the last drops decant in their own time?
This funnel set comprises a top funnel and a bottom cylinder. The top funnel will snugly hold the emptying bottle over the bottom cylinder, which will in turn snugly hold the receiving bottle. The funnel will fit bottles of less than 100mm diameter.

Instructions
This is a 2 part print: the funnel part will sit into the lower cylinder.
I haven't tried a print yet because my Makerbot doesn't arrive for another 2 days. I'll try this in the coming week. I made the wall 2.5mm so hopefully that's a good thickness.

Hi Sahrchitect,
I loaded these .stl files into repetier-host (for windows, 0.82b) and got pretty kaleidoscope-y things, each of which filled up the print bed. I'm new to 3d printing myself, so I have no idea what might be wrong.
I'll keep checking back, because I'd find one of these (and maybe one scaled up to a larger size) rather useful.
Good Luck!

Thanks for at least getting that far, Leah! I've been getting my MakerBot enclosed before doing much else but I'll have a go at doing a print of this on the weekend if I can get some reliable settings. No idea why repetier-host was showing you pretty kaleidoscope-y things, sadly. Might have to get on the forums and see if it's a file problem or something else.
