Z-axis stabiliser for Mendel Prusa V2 by Wired1 Dec 4, 2012

Description

This is the z-stabiliser that came with my first Prusa V2 and is posted for CheeseWeasel. It uses a 608 bearing press fit.
Not my design but works very well.

Thanks Wired1. I'll reconsider their usefulness after the comments below, but thank you for posting this.

Yes there is plenty of debate about the merits (or lack) of using these especially when your lead screws aren't perfectly straight as they can actually make the wobble worse. The two printers I have used them on work very well and produce top quality prints but both have very straight lead screws to start with so may do the same without them. In any case I have posted them in response to a request from another member.
I actually stop using mine as well.. works so much better

Do not use these.  I'm so sick and tired of posting why, so I'm just going to post the last talk I had about it: https://plus.google.com/108488197743215948957/posts/1vdevqfVDwt
