In the production version of blink(1), the top part is CNC milled aluminum and the bottom part is injection molded polypropylene.

Both parts can be printed with a 3D printer so you can experiment with different materials and shapes.

Is there a model for the blink(1) v2? I'd like to make a fun derivative, but it would be easier to start with something that fits.

The original blink(1) enclosure works great with blink1mk2. And it's actually easier to print out or use as the base for a new design because it's "cup" shaped.

The regular blink1mk2 enclosure is kind of hard to get working right as a 3d print. I'll see about getting STLs of it though and uploading them shortly.

Has anyone made a Derivative yet? I need a version that is about 2-3 mm thinner (About flat with the USB connector). The current case interferes with the Laptop case.
