Description

This Thing is a MakerBot 3D Portrait of nick O scanned at the MakerBot Retail Store in SoHo on Dec 8, 2012. These scans are at 1/4th the original size.

Nice scan ! What was the scanner type and resolution ? Any reason why they didn't scan the top and back of your head ? Was the scanner fixed or portable ? I'm looking to purchase a low cost, high resolution scanner but that seems to be an oxymoron - lol !

Instructions

1. Preview each model by clicking the thumbnail on the top left. Click on the cube to see the model in 3D.
2. Download the STL of the file you would like to print. The first thumbnail corresponds to portrait_1, and so on.
3. Open the STL in MakerWare or ReplicatorG, resize as necessary and print.
