Description
A 3-Part printout designed by Trevor in Google Sketchup. A box with a nesting lid. The lid has a small pin which nests inside the pyramid that sits on top.
Instructions
A really neat idea. It needs a few updates for a better print-out.
The lid has a major overhang. We need to flip it upside down and get rid of the pin, requiring us to make the pin as a fourth peice and have a hole for the pin that we can glue into the top of the lid.
We also had some difficulty scaling the project. This was one of the first times we had challenges with converting out of sketchup to stl. The conversion process seems to be a bit unclear. We thought we were doing it in cm, but it didn't turn out how we thought when we previewed the print.
Anyone have a suggestion for the conversion process???
