halo ring by hurkyheretic Dec 12, 2012

Description

This was suppose to be a halo ring but when I sent it through net fab it closed the ring part of it. If anyone knows how to fix this I would love to learn how so Im uploading the sketch up file.
The way I ended up printing it is with 100% infill and drilling out the ring.the center of the ring is around 21 mm
I got the halo mask from the sketch up warehouse thanks Grave Heart.
Update: Thanks to AMS3000 we now have our ring so make sure to use hurky heretics halo ring

I made one of these, came out great. Now to get some red and blue plastic! I had to rescale it, using an Afinia so it came out BIG at first. 50% made it fit perfectly.

really why

TinkerCad will soon be closed
they posted up info on it a few weeks ago

its a real shame it was a nice, easy to use, basic cad

Nice design! It'll be a nice geeky gift for my halo crazed brother :)

Easiest way I know how to fix this is with Tinkercad. Check it out: https://tinkercad.com/things/6...

You can just copy that project to tweak it, or you can just download the STL directly and it should work.

I was going to suggest the same thing.  Hopefully it doesn't have too many polygons or Tinkercad will choke on it.
