Elliptical Gear Set with connecting links.

Description

Elliptical gears and some connector links to play around with. I got the idea for these when i was thinking about an old steam locomotive. I have been playing with them for a couple weeks and wanted to upload something. I may design some more connecting links and different shaped gears that go with this in the future. I will upload them if i do.

Instructions

Printing without raft works best for me... with ABS set your HBP to 120c, extruder to 230c and let her rip.... i have printed dozens with no failures. Don't be too forceful when you snap these together. Sometimes one of the 3 prongs will break off on a connecting link. i started out with 4 and had too beef them up and knock it down to 3 to get them to stop breaking.
Please post pics of what you assemble from these... i would love to see them..
