Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress.
Files, instructions, and other stuff might change!
NERF dual magazine connector
Description
I didn't like the original magazine connector, so I make one where the magazines are next to each other and the combined thing is not as long.
Instructions
The full thing is very tall.
I could not print it in once pice.
So I tried something new.
I cut a dovetail right through it so it can be printed in two parts and they combined.
I added an allowance of 0.4mm (1x layer_height for me).
_RIGHT must be turned upside down to be printed.
Consider the dovetailed version an experiment.
They have very, very long (30mm) bridges with details printed in mid-air on these bridges.
Surprisingly with 200°C for PLA this seems to actually work. You have 2 saggy layers that need to be dremeled flat but above that it looks fine.
A smaller dovetail would probably have worked better though.
