Pulley for T2.5 Belt Mendel Prusa. Fits a standard 608ZZ (Roler Skate) bearing. BIG IMPROVEMENT IN PRINT QUALITY!

Hey man, these things are great. but they don't fit my Mini Kossel. any chance you can upload SCAD file?

Great idea Arjan! When i printed it, it was 1+ millimeter too small for the 608zz bearings here. My printer prints things pretty exact if i measure it for other objects. Do you have the OpenSCAD file somewhere so i can enlarge it?

Instructions

Print the Pulley, using less than 0.25 mm per layer. Adjust the speed a bit down. Part should print in about 22 minutes at 60mm/sec. The underside (not visible in the STL file) has lips to snap in the 608ZZ bearing.

With the ball bearings on the T2.5 belt, its a bit like having square wheels, exaggerated. The belt on the bearing causes a small sinus like movement. But you have to multiply that because both the x and the y axis are running on belts/bearings. This pulley has the same teeth as the belt and makes the printer run much smoother. You can see this in the print result. Far less "moire" in the print. Besides this you save bearing, only 3 needed instead of 6.
