Description
Inspired by ARTCAD's cookie cutter I decided to try tracing another Escher tessellation, the lizard. This was the result.
Instructions
The STL file is a large version of the cookie cutter at roughly 6 inches wide. You may want to scale it down a tad for printing, but because you still may want to maintain the width of the actual plastic cutting lip I have included my original work done is Google Sketchup. It also might be interesting just to see how tessellations work and how I traced over the image.
This was printed in PLA without a raft at about 75% scale and 100% infil. It came out lovely though perhaps a little flimsy, again you may want to modify the original shape's size and then make the cutting edge 1 mm thick. This part has been fixed with Netfabb before hand so the stl is fine to print.
