"Cathepsin B is an enzymatic protein belonging to the peptidase (or protease) families. In humans, it is coded by the CTSB gene."

This is my first one so I'm not sure how much help I can give. This model was made to be printed on a maker bot using a tutorial from here:

I severely doubt he printed it with a makerbot.. I tried to make another structure like this and it was impossible to remove the support. That said, can you tell me how you created that stl? The link in your description is broken.

You are correct, this is not something that can be printed on a printer like the makerbot. Unfortunately it needs to be done with a 3D printer like the ones at Sapeways. Luckily I saved all of the info from that link, so I will try and post it here soon.

I'm considering buying a 3D printer and I would like to do objects like the protein model. How long did it take to print this?

I actually have not been able to print this on a home printer, but I will try to put the relevant links and info in this post soon.

Hi Did you have a chance to post the information of the broken link? Thank you very much in advance.
