YATH Tool Holder for Replicator 2 by whpthomas Dec 22, 2012

Description

Yet Another Tool Holder - this time specifically for the Replicator 2. Starting from the left, this tool holder has room for digital callipers, the hex wrench set, a pair or scissors (for trimming filament), a 0.1 mm feeler gauge and/or a points file, super lube, and a toothbrush (for cleaning the extruder head).

UPDATE (Feb, 26th 2013)

Added a BLANK version, including STEP files so you can add your own custom slots for your own tools.

what software would be the easiest in your opinion for a rookie to take your step file and add some simple modifications?
I just printed the tool holder for my rep.2 works great. Thanks
I printed one of these out and discovered that the lip to hold this onto the sides isn't quite wide enough. It's set to 6mm in the model, but I measured my Replicator 2 sides, and they vary between 6.08 and 6.31 mm. So this won't fit. Has anyone else run into this?

Instructions

I printed this with a 2.0 mm layer height using the skin module in ReplicatorG to achieve a 1.0 mm outer surface finish, 10% infill and only 1 extra shell.

This tool holder was designed using an ACIS solid in Shark FX (sfx file included) so will behave well with Makerware, ReplicatorG and skeinforge.

I love this little thing. Can you add a hooked lip on the bottom outer edge to hold a steel ruler horizontally?
