Speak&Spell Battery Cover
Description
Be a good geek -- repair your old Speak & Spell! I have never seen one intact in my whole life time, so I had to rely on blurry pictures from the interwebs to reconstruct the cover.
Instructions
I admit that the latch is quite fragile, but I had to do a compromise between elasticity and stability... Therefore I include the SCAD file so you can modify it to your printing needs.
I printed it using my Ultimaker, then gave it a small hint with a lighter (the print, not the Ultimaker) to smooth out the corners. It really snaps in nicely.
If you don't plan on using batteries you can use the "002"-version which has a much nicer mechanism, but collides with the batteries.

I can still hear the beeps when you get something right. I grew up with a Speak N Spell. Man this takes me back. :D
