Description

Be prepared for the next electrical outage. This emergency charger, with its 6600mAh battery, will provide multiple phone charges or 24 hours of light. The angle of the solar module can be adjusted for maximum charging.

Instructions

Print one of each part. Assemble charge controller, MintyBoost, and resistor circuit board. I added auxiliary LEDs to the charge controller for charging and fully charged modes. Note that the two LEDs on the light bar share a voltage drop resistor. Use a hot glue gun to mount the circuit boards and light bar. The case is 200 mm long.

Beautiful -- this is type of project is actually what started me on 3-D printing. Thanks for the great design.

This is really cool! Has it been field tested yet...?

Yes, works great - when the sun shines.
