Extrusion Corner Blocks
by bdring, published
This type of corner block allows you to use the slots for acrylic panels.
There are three versions. A standard corner and two corners (left and right hand) that act as feet.
I used them to make a nearly air tight spool holder. The extra parts for that are here too.

The indexing bosses do a good job of locating the blocks. My inside holes are often a little undersized so for holes that do not matter too much, I usually err on the larger size.
Very nice. Have actually had this on my "to design" list for a while. You saved me that effort! ;)
Screw holes are 6mm...
Do that for a reason I'm not seeing? I'd think a tighter hole would aid in keeping things together a bit better, and provide a bit more clamping surface. Possible you could post up a version w/ 5.1mm holes?

The corner blocks require low profile head screws. I used button head screws.
Spool holder (I'll public a STEP file soon)
The little clips are used as wedges install the acrylic panels,
The spool rolls on 1/2 EMT electrical conduit with 5x15x5 bearings pressed in. The handle is made from the same material.
