Bowsprit turning block
Description
this is a set of turning blocks for a 75mm Selden bowsprit.
Instructions
I put a top down furling spinnaker and bowsprit on my boat this summer and angle of the furling line was causing problems so I created a ring with a set of integrated turning blocks for my furling line. the ring slides on to the bowsprit and clamps down when you tighten the screw. then the endless furling line drops down under both pulleys and allowed me to get a better angle on the furling unit. This has a fairly specific purpose but if you like to sail and have a furling spinnaker on a sprit this may help you.

perhaps I am a bit far-sighted, but your gadget is not mounted in your boat-pic, is it?

it is not, I included that picture as a reference of the sprit and the furling unit. it will mount just behind the furling pulley on the sprit. currently the boat is winterized so I'm unable to show the turning blocks mounted, I will upload a picture as soon as I can. sorry for the confusion.
