Description
These are just-for-fun bowls for small items, inspired by the Canadian flag and the state of Michigan, to honor two very special people.
Instructions
Inspired by the Koch Snowflake vases, I'm learning to use the loft feature in Alibre. These were made by sketching the shapes and then lofting them into 3D objects.
These files are presented as simple solids. They can be printed as a bowl by slicing; these examples were made with a 4 layer bottom, 3 perimeters, no infill, and no top surface. The leaf is 170 mm wide (x) by 150 mm tall (y) by 50 mm deep (z), so those using printers with a smaller build platform will need to scale these down. These printed with no support
The multilayer colors were done by manually feeding filament on-the-fly.
