Description
This is a cool little stand to securely hold your ipad mini on your bedside table.
Instructions
I needed a stand to hold my iPad mini on my bedside table. Makes an amazing alarm clock !
The stand has splayed legs for stability and has built-in horns to redirect the output from the speakers to the front when the ipad is in portrait mode.
The sound is surprisingly good but a little lacking in bass.
The stand was designed using ProDesktop 8 and printed on a UP! 3D printer in white ABS. The printer was set to loose fill at a .25mm resolution with 30 degrees support structure. I have optimised the design for clean snap off of supports.
Pro-Tec surface protector strips have been glued to the base to stop it sliding around the desktop when being used.
The lightning connector is a close fit and you may need to flex the cable a little to get some room.
