This is for a Galaxy Note 2, customized to fit with my hard shell case. It will also accept a charger plug so it charges as it's cradled. Lastly it has a cavity to channel the sound from the rear facing speaker back to the front.

Designed to be printed without support necessary

Add a couple perimeters if you don't want the rough radius in the cradle area.

My chargecable doesnt fit in the hole... what cable did you use for it?

Most of the aftermarket ones fit, not the Samsung branded white quick charge cable since I wanted to keep that at home, and this was for work. You should be able to file it larger if you need to. I have wrapped paper around my aftermarket one so that it's a very tight fit so it doesn't slide back in the hole when I push down.

I'm printing this right now... How does the phone fit without a case on it?

Very slick! Just curious which case you have on your GNote2? Is it the Seidio Active Case (with the aluminum kickstand)?

Great dock, took 4 hours to print on my ultimaker (at 200%).

Hey, cmetzel, I'm an L.A. Times editor working on a 3D printer story. Can you email me back with the best way to get in touch? I'd like to ask a couple of questions about your project. [email protected]
