Does anyone have any pictures of their completed unit that will show how it is assembled? I have all of my prints complete and have my makerslide. Just need to know how it goes together.
Milt

I started a manual and uploaded it. Please have a look at it. I hope it helps. You're very welcome to help finish the manual.

Anyone have a cut list for the makerslide?

you need 4pcs. makerslide 322mm and 2 pcs. profile5 310mm

608 bearings and M8 threaded rod for the Z? a few more photos of assembled hardware connections would help me make a BOM / shopping list

yes 608 bearings and M8 threaded rod (TR8x1,5 trapezoidal thread spindle) for the Z.

Will add some more Photos soon.

I have printed out the parts - Nice stuff. how did you do your idler pulley. Are 625 bearings used in the end blocks to provide the belt a roller? I am still looking for the washer you have mentioned below...

yes, you need two 625 bearings and an M5x50 to hold the idler pulley.

About the washers, hope you you'll find them in the states. it's called "Fischbandringe" in German and i bought them here: http://www.hasler.ch/?srv=sortiment&pg=det&cmsrub=0&partnerId=32&rub=0&artNr=100017696&groupId=0http://www.hasler.ch/?srv=sort...

No luck finding a similar washer here with 11mm OD. I have a standard M6 washer that's 11.8 mm OD. I have drilled the ID to 7mm and Now will see if I can modify the carriage to accept the 11.8 OD washer. Perhaps you could publish a modified part?

does it work well? I read that others were having trouble with 3d printed makerslide carriages not being able to handle the force of eccentric spacers.

it works quite well since i inserted a washer (7x11x2) into the plastic.

Nice. I just bought 60 and 80mm v-groove on Kickstarter to build a 18"x18" Ord bot for a special project (I have one of the original Ords as well). I'll be using a lot of your ideas in my design. Would be very interested to hear how these parts work out for you in the next few weeks as you start to use it more.
