Horned Owl

Modeled in sculptris

flat bottomed in Truespace5

no support should be needed

Infill at 10%

Printed in ABS with infill as posted.

If doing 0% infill i suspect after print gaps would be fixable in ABS with abs/acetone goop

I tend to lean towards 0% infill as it prints faster, uses less plastic

but I don't mind the touchups. ABS would be my preference in 0% settings

for PLA and Nylon I would go with the infill.

I just printed this.. It's great! The detail on the feet is impressive. It took 4hrs with Sailfish 1 shell + 1 perimeter, 5% infill @ 80mm/s.

I'm printing another one and will Acetone vapour them! I'll post pictures once complete.

Looking forward to seeing the prints!
This is one of my favorite efforts so far.

Uploaded a picture!

Maybe you should have gone 'no derivatives', I'm probably not the only one who went to Horny Owl...

hmm i am guessing horny owl website is not a wildlife site
(assuming wildlife in the Audubon society sense)
