This fits the older modules. If you have the newer radio that didn't come in a case, try this -- http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:712588

Housing for the 3DR radio "Air" module.

Printed on a printrbot with .35 mm nozzle with 50% infill and .15 mm layers. I had to do a little bit of post-print cleanup before the halves snapped together. The Open Hardware logo serves as a window for the Tx/Rx LEDs.

Thanks for publishing your GREAT CASE. I should have printed this two years ago when you published it!

I am now basing my project/electronic enclosure needs off your great design.

Your case:

  • Is Easy to scale!
  • Prints very nice!
  • Fits perfect!
  • Easily snaps together!
  • Is Attractive!

What more can one ask for from an Open Source 3D print design?

Thanks for the comment and remix. I added a link to yours in my info.

Hi! I printed this and it turned out to be too small. Needs to be scaled with a factor 1.08 (108%) to fit.

What version of telemetry radio is this for?

It does not work or fit with version 2.0 3DR telemetry.

Do you want Pictures?

Not sure. I got it from 3DRobotics last September. I think it's the same version as the one currently sold.

could yo post the DFX or Skechup file it needa bit of adjusting....

barneyj - in reply to vvdd

The .SKP is there along with the .STL file.

Thanks, I scaled it up by 5% and it fits nicely after removing some stuff around pins

Love it! I was going to model one tonight but this looks great!
Also - LOVE your APM 2.5 case!
