no trigger, false size, support structure. Too small. No hole in front. That should be no problem for moderators, as its actually nearly 99% the same as the existing parent.

Its a nice demo object for sparking the discussion about gun printing however.
Its a supplement for the probably mistakenly deleted http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10414 which was a toy gun used for art installations featured on dutch TV.

where is the bright red/orange tip to prove its fake? :)

Well, B. you still can use it to slap people...
Indeed quite a lot things disappeared from this site.

Weapon or not? Simple, this is part of a weapon

and should be deleted immediately.
And this one isn't (and it was printed with a Makerbot :)

I don't like weapons, but I really wonder what will happen if I upload my pea shooter to Thingiverse:

Dude, why do you care about an AR-15 grip???? It's a friggin' handle.. it can be used on airsoft/toy guns too... or that Kinect thing you posted. Why can't we all just get along and enjoy our hobbies in peace? That grip poses NO threat to you or anyone around you and it would be ludicrous if it were removed for being part of a weapon just because it's title says it can be used on a gun. Why not just leave it alone... I don't go trampling all over your beloved hobbies because you could zap yourself with a circuit board or poke someone's eye out with chopsticks. John Lennon says let it be.

Edit: Sorry to bother you with a response to a really old comment, but my point still stands.

A better question is. Why was Thing 10414 deleted but the thing 5533 it was derived from wasn't ? MBI hates the Ultimaker tag. The truth is out. :-) (Kidding)

What is a weapon? I know a special forces trained person who can use otherwise innocuous items to kill. Starting with a pencil. (obviously discounting the use of the usual body parts first)

Even http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39702http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... chopsticks...
